01. ABOUT RECIPES

A Chicken Seekh Roll is a popular North Indian street food made by wrapping spicy grilled chicken seekh kebabs in a paratha, roti, or rumali roti, along with onions, mint chutney, and sometimes salad or sauces. It’s flavourful, protein-rich, and filling.

02.INGREDIENTS

  • Minced chicken (lean) – 120g raw (~100g cooked)
  • Onion – 15g (finely chopped)
  • Garlic – 1 clove (minced)
  • Ginger – 1 tsp
  • Green chilli – 1 small (optional)
  • Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
  • Mint leaves – 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder – ½ tsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Mint leaves – 10g



  • Coriander leaves – 10g
  • Green chilli – ½
  • Garlic – 1 small clove
  • Curd (low fat) – 1 tbsp
  • Salt & lemon juice – to taste
  • For the Wheat Flour Wrap:
  • Whole wheat flour – 40g (~1 small chapathi or wrap)
  • Water, pinch of salt (for dough)
  • Onion rings – 10g
  • Cabbage/carrot julienne – 10g
  • Dash of chat masala or lemon

04. INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Mix whole wheat flour with water and a pinch of salt. Knead into soft dough. Rest for 10 mins.
  • Combine all kebab ingredients in a bowl.
  • Shape into cylindrical rolls and grill, bake or pan-fry with minimal oil till fully cooked.
  • Blend all chutney ingredients into a smooth paste.
  • Roll out the dough into a thin chapathi and cook both sides on a tawa.
  • Spread mint chutney, place chicken sheikh kebab in the centre.
