Egg Dosa is a protein-rich South Indian crepe that combines the traditional dosa batter or rava/rice flour with a whole egg. 02.INGREDIENTS

  • Rava / Rice flour or Dosa batter – ~45 g (about 3 tbsp batter)
  • Egg – 1 medium (50 g)
  • Onion (optional) – 10 g (finely chopped)



  • Green chilli – 2 g (optional)
  • Oil – 3 ml (½ tsp)
  • Salt – to taste

04. INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Heat a dosa tawa and grease lightly with oil.
  • Pour a thin layer of dosa batter (rava dosa or regular dosa batter) in a circular motion.
  • Crack an egg directly on top and spread gently to cover the dosa surface.
  • Sprinkle chopped onions, green chilli, and a pinch of salt.
  • Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook on medium flame until crisp.
  • Flip for a few seconds if needed, then serve hot.
