01. ABOUT RECIPES

A Palak Paneer Wrap is a nutritious and delicious vegetarian wrap where soft paneer cubes cooked with spinach (palak) and mild spices are rolled inside a whole wheat or multigrain roti along with fresh vegetables and chutney. It’s high in protein, vitamins, and minerals, making it a wholesome and filling meal option.

02.INGREDIENTS

  • Whole wheat flour (raw) - 40g (for 1 chapathi)
  • Paneer (cubed) - 40g
  • Spinach (palak) leaves - 80g
  • Onion - 20g
  • Tomato - 15g
  • Garlic - 2 cloves



  • Ginger - ¼ inch piece
  • Green chili -½ (optional)
  • Oil or ghee - 1 tsp
  • Spices: cumin, turmeric, garam masala, salt - To taste
  • Lemon juice - Few drops (optional)

04. INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Knead wheat flour with water and a pinch of salt.
  • Roll out and cook on a hot tawa. Set aside.
  • Blanch spinach: Boil leaves for 1–2 minutes, then immediately place in cold water.
  • Blend blanched spinach with ginger, garlic, green chili into a smooth paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan, sauté cumin, onions, and tomatoes.
  • Add the spinach purée, cook for 3–4 minutes.
  • Add turmeric, garam masala, and salt.
  • Stir in paneer cubes, simmer 2–3 minutes. Finish with lemon juice.
  • Place the filling on the chapathi, roll and serve warm.
