01. ABOUT RECIPES

A Soya Frankie is a popular Indian street-food-style wrap made with spiced soya chunks or granules, sautéed with onions, peppers, and spices, then rolled in a soft roti or paratha. It’s a high-protein, vegetarian wrap that’s filling and flavourful.

02.INGREDIENTS

  • Whole wheat flour (for chapathi) - 40g
  • Soya chunks (dry weight) - 30g (yields ~70g cooked)
  • Onion (sliced) - 20g
  • Capsicum (sliced) - 20g
  • Cabbage (shredded) - 20g
  • Garlic sauce (homemade) - 15g
  • Oil - 1 tsp (for cooking soya & base)
  • Spices - Turmeric, chilli powder, cumin, salt, garam masala



  • Lemon juice - A dash (optional)
  • Garlic Sauce (Homemade, 15g):
     

  • Grated garlic – 1 clove,
  • Yogurt – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – pinch,
  • Lemon juice – ¼ tsp,
  • oil – ½ tsp

04. INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Knead and roll 40g wheat flour with water. Cook on a tawa without oil or with light brushing.
  • Soak soya chunks in hot water for 10 minutes. Squeeze excess water.
  • Sauté garlic, onions in ½ tsp oil, Add spices and soya chunks. Cook until dry and flavourful.
  • Spread garlic sauce on the chapathi.
  • Add cooked soya, raw cabbage, onion, and capsicum.
  • Roll tightly and serve hot.
