01. ABOUT RECIPES

A Sprouts Wrap is a healthy vegetarian wrap where sprouted legumes (like Moong, chickpeas, or lentils) are combined with fresh vegetables, herbs, and spices, then rolled in a whole wheat, multigrain, or low-calorie wrap. It’s protein- and fiber-rich, making it a nutritious, filling, and light meal.

02.INGREDIENTS

  • Whole wheat flour (chapathi) - 40g (yields ~60g cooked)
  • Moong sprouts (boiled/steamed)          - 50g
  • Carrot (grated) -30g
  • Beetroot (grated) -30g
  • Onion (optional) -10g



  • Lemon juice -1 tsp
  • Chat masala - ¼ tsp
  • Black salt, pepper -To taste
  • Coriander leaves -1 tbsp (chopped)
  • Oil (for chapathi or sauté)  1 tsp or less

04. INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Knead 40g whole wheat flour with water. Roll and cook on a dry tawa or with minimal oil.
  • Steam/boil Moong sprouts lightly (or use raw if preferred).
  • Mix with grated carrot, beetroot, chopped onion, lemon juice, chat masala, black salt, pepper, coriander.
  • Place the filling on the chapathi.
  • Roll tightly and serve fresh.
