01. ABOUT RECIPES

A Tofu Roll is a healthy vegetarian wrap where tofu is used as the main protein filling, often marinated and grilled or sautéed, then wrapped in a roti, whole wheat wrap, or multigrain roti along with vegetables and sauces. It’s a protein-rich, low-fat, and nutrient-dense meal suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

02.INGREDIENTS

  • Whole wheat flour – 40g (for 1 chapathi)
  • Tofu (firm, grilled) – 60g
  • Carrot (grated) – 20g
  • Onion (sliced) – 10g
  • Mint leaves – 10g
  • Low-fat curd – 1 tbsp (15g)



  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder – ¼ tsp
  • Green chilli – optional
  • Oil - 1 tsp (for grilling tofu)
  • Salt, Pepper – To taste

04. INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Knead 40g whole wheat flour with water and a pinch of salt.
  • Roll into a thin chapathi and cook on a hot tawa (no oil).
  • Marinate tofu with lemon juice, salt, cumin.
  • Grill or pan-fry in 1 tsp oil until slightly golden.
  • Blend mint leaves, curd, lemon juice, cumin, green chilli, and salt.
  • On the roti, layer grated carrot, onion, grilled tofu, and drizzle mint dressing.
  • Roll it up and serve.
