01. ABOUT RECIPES

A popular Indian street food made by cooking a thin layer of egg on a roti/paratha and then rolling it up with onions, chutney, and spices. It’s quick, tasty, and protein-rich.

02.INGREDIENTS

  • Whole wheat flour – 40g
  • Oil – 1 tsp (for layering & cooking)
  • 1 whole egg (50g)
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Pepper/chilli flakes – a pinch
  • Onion – 20g (thinly sliced)



  • Tomato ketchup/sauce – 1 tsp (5g)
  • Green chilli – ½ (optional)
  • Chat masala – a pinch
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Fresh coriander – few leaves

04. INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Knead 40g wheat flour with water into a soft dough.
  • Roll and layer with a few drops of oil, fold, and roll again.
  • Cook on a tawa using 1 tsp oil till golden brown on both sides.
  • Whisk 1 egg with salt and pepper.
  • Pour on hot tawa; place the half-cooked paratha on top.
  • Let the egg cook and stick to the paratha.
  • Mix sliced onions, green chilli, chat masala, lemon juice, and coriander.
  • Place the egg-paratha egg side up.
  • Spread onion mix, drizzle ketchup or sauce.
  • Roll tightly and wrap in foil or butter paper.
